Academic Framework

The Competency-Based Curriculum

"Shifting from what a learner knows, to what a learner can do. At Scholarstem Academy, we don't just teach for exams; we train for life."

What is CBC?

The Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) is Kenya's modern approach to education. Unlike the previous system, CBC focuses on identifying the unique potential of every student.

Competency-Based Education (CBE) ensures that learning is personalized. A student only moves to the next level once they have demonstrated mastery of specific skills, ensuring no child is left behind in the pursuit of grades.
